It is very popular among Indians as well as foreigners. It’s always crowded with people, mostly Russians. The beach is home to many water sports activities like Para sailing, banana boat ride, Jet Ski etc. And it is also famous for shopping, with sea shells to shirts, wine, beer. This place is good for family trip as well as for honeymoon couples. Calangute beach symbolize Goa's reputation as a haven for beach and coastal splendor shopping At Calangute Beach. The road from the town to the beach is lined with Kashmiri-run handicraft boutiques and Tibetan stalls selling Himalayan curios and jewellery. If you are staying near the beach I would advise you not to miss your morning walks on the beach. The sunset is also worth watching. Eating out Joints & Restaurants Calangute's bars and restaurants are mainly grouped around the entrance to the beach and along the Baga road.
